Kristy looked to yoga to complement her sports and fitness pursuits. She expected that it would increase her flexibility, and found that it did that and so much more. Benefits were both physical and mental. Yoga created an overall calm and balance during a stressful time in life. She continues to love that there is always a new challenge and something new to try. In both practice and teaching, Kristy helps students reach their physical edge in order to achieve the internal benefits. She believes yoga should be FUN, and tries to incorporate good music, a sense of humor and a willingness to try new things. Kristy lives in Birmingham with her husband, Hunter, and three young children.
